Our Client Accounting / Advisory Services group performs a full range of accounting, reporting and general ledger support functions for our clients. We are looking for candidates with strong accounting, leadership, business development and personal relationship skills who are looking to grow in a positive, caring, enjoyable, successful environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review the work of CAS associate and senior accountants
- Train and mentor CAS associate and senior accountants
- Manage client outsourced accounting / advisory engagements
- Provide fractional accounting manager / controller services to clients
– Provide outsourced accounting services to clients
– Provide advisory services to clients including preparation and presentation of financial statements and other financial data - Liaison with people in tax and accounting / assurance departments serving CAS clients
- Participate in prospect meetings including scoping services required and assistance with proposals for services for new and existing clients
- Onboarding new CAS clients
Experience / Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in public accounting, specifically offering outsourced accounting and related services; or in industry with similar work product responsibilities
- Leadership responsibilities including experience managing and directing staff
- Prior experience being responsible for final work product
- Degree in accounting, finance or related business major
- CPA preferred
Additional Skills:
- Mastery of basic accounting and strong understanding of accounting processes and controls
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks/QBO required
- Experience with Xero and/or Sage Intaact also helpful
- Enjoy the challenge of accounting – investigating, solving problems, etc.
- Ability to embrace change and have an interest in learning new technology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
