At the conclusion of another very busy but successful tax season for Michael Silver & Company, a group of enthusiastic “Hunger Awareness” volunteers welcomed Amy Wagner of the Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation, located in Skokie. Amy stopped by our Skokie office to collect nearly 300 lbs. of donated grocery and food items AND a check in the amount of $800!
The decision to support the efforts of the Food Pantry this year was an easy one. In encouraging everyone to contribute to a highly worthwhile cause, Dawn Dybas, Michael Silver’s Firm Administrator noted, “There are so many people that don’t have the appropriate resources to feed themselves or their families each day, so let’s help make a difference in our community.” In addition to the employees, friends and clients of Michael Silver, several of the tenants of the Harmswood Office Center (5750 Old Orchard Road) also generously contributed to the cause.
Amy responded, “Thank you very much! We are so thrilled to receive all these wonderful donations! You’ve been a big help to our organization, and I look forward to working with you in the future!” More information about the Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation, which is connected with Niles Township Government, can be accessed here: Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation |
