MichaelSilver kicked off a Tax Season Sock Drive in February. Working with Northfield Township partner, St. Philip Church, and their clothing closet (which is available to those who shop at the Northfield Township Food Pantry), our employees donated 260 pairs of socks for the event.
Why a Sock drive? Socks are a much overlooked necessity for the homeless community, especially in the wintertime, and are often overlooked by many who donate clothing items. The event was a huge success!
